College Undergraduate Programs


ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS


Admission presupposes that a student’s application has satisfactorily met all the requirements of the College.

Enrollment in the College is a contractual relationship between the student and the Administration. A student is admitted with definite understanding that he and his parents or guardians agree to comply with the scholastic standards of the College and its rules governing student behavior. The Administration is empowered to deal with violations in accordance with its system of discipline and guidance.

A student seeking admission to the College must be a graduate of a standard secondary level offered by a duly recognized school and must have taken the DYCI admission test. A student whose eligibility for admission has been verified must submit to the Registrar or his authorized representatives the following:


  1. Incoming Freshman
    1. High School Report Card (Form 138)
    2. Three (3) copies size 2 x 2 photos in white background
    3. Certificate of Good Moral Character
    4. Medical Examination Certificate Issued by Dr. Yanga’s Hospital
    5. Birth Certificate Issued by the PSA
  2. Student Transferees
  3. A student from another school seeking transfer to any College in DYCI must submit the following credentials:
    1. Honorable Dismissal
    2. Certificate of Good Moral character
    3. An official copy of grades or transcript of records duly signed by the Dean or Registrar
    4. A letter of application indicating his reasons for seeking transfer to DYCI as well as the degree program he/she wishes to pursue
    5. Medical Examination Certificate issued by Dr. Yanga’s Hospital
    6. Birth certificate issued by PSA
    7. Three (3) pieces sized 2 x 2 photo in white background
    A DYCIAN student seeking transfer to another College in DYCI must submit the following credentials to the Office of the Dean where she/he is intending to transfer:
    1. A letter of application indicating her/his reason for seeking transfer to the College as well as the degree programs that he/she wishes to pursue
    2. Complete certified true copy of grades
    3. Permit to transfer from the previous College where the student belongs
    4. Clearance
    5. Three copies of 2 x 2 photo in white background

Applicants may be asked to submit additional requirements as required by the specific program/college unit’s CMOs (Commission on Higher Education Memorandum Orders).






Senior High School


ADMISSION AND ENROLMENT

  1. New students and transferees shall undergo an entrance exam first to gauge the level of competency of the students. Grades of the previous grade level shall be a necessary requirement before the entrance examination for evaluation for transferees. Moreover, interview is set by the Guidance with the transferees.
  2. Incoming Grade 11 students, seeking admission to the school, shall present the following requirements to the Basic Education School Registrar for assessment:
    1. Form-138 (Report Card)
    2. Certificate of Good Moral Character
    3. Original Copy of Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Birth Certificate
    4. 4 pieces of 1x1 picture (with white background)
    5. Entrance Examination Result Slip
  3. Transferees, on the other hand, shall be given a recommendation form to be filled-out by the principal, guidance counselor, or adviser from the school where they came from. It shall, then be presented to the Guidance Office for further evaluation along with the following requirements stated above.
    Note: Certificate of Good Moral Character must include the Learner’s Reference Number (LRN) and Educational Service Contracting (ESC) Number (for private schools only)
  4. For returning/old students seeking admission to the school shall present the following:
    1. Form-138 (Report Card)
    2. Invitation letter duly signed by the Class Adviser and/or Principal
  5. The student shall be asked to fill-out the Registration Form by the enrolment personnel. The assessing clerk in the Accounting Office will then identify the corresponding discount. Payment to the fees is required before officially enrolled status can be given to the student.
  6. During regular enrolment days, ID picture taking and gathering of sizes for the PE uniform is the last procedure of enrolment.

Junior High School


ADMISSION AND ENROLMENT

Grade School Admission and Enrolment


  1. New students and transferees shall undergo an entrance exam first to gauge the level of competency of the students. Moreover, interview is set by the Guidance Office with the transferees.
  2. Transferees and incoming nursery and Grade 1 students seeking admission to the school, shall present the following requirements to the Grade School Registrar for assessment:
    1. Form 138 – Card
    2. Photocopy of Birth Certificate
    3. Certification of Good Moral Character
    4. 2 copies of 2 x 2 picture
  3. For returning students seeking admission to the school shall, they present the following:
    1. Form 138 – Card
    2. Invitation Letter duly signed by the Director/Principal
  4. The students shall be asked to fill-up the Registration Form by the Grade School Registrar. The Registrar then shall identify on the form the corresponding fees to be paid by the students in the Cashier’s office.
  5. The students shall pay the fees to the Cashier in the Accounting Office.
